Sinaw

Construction of Water Distribution Network in Sinaw is the first international project bagged by SMC in the Sultnate of Oman, facing stiff competition from many international infrastructure companies. The objective of this project was to improve the water supply for 18 villages in the Sinaw area in the Sharqiyah region, which is 200 kms from Muscat. The source of water is the Sur Desalination Plant. The current population of the Sinaw area is 10,800 people and is expected to grow to 24,000 people by 2035.
