900 MLD Water Treatment Plant at Mumbai

A milestone in our success is the largest water treatment plant in Asia. A mega 900MLD water treatment plant was set up by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai at Bhandup. This project was executed in association with the French conglomerate Degremont Limited. The water from Tansa, Vaitarna and part of Bhatsa source will be received at Bhandup and will be treated and pumped for city use. It has state of art technology of Pulsator clarifier and aquazur filter with cross wash arrangement.
It has state of art technology of Pulsator clarifier and aquazur filter with cross wash arrangement. This has a facility to treat and recycling of wash water to make use of every drop of water. An automated batching plant has been installed exclusively for this project. With total construction machinery worth INR 100 million, and shuttering material worth of INR 60 million, the project of an unprecedented scale, has been completed on time and handed over to the government.
