SMCIPL considers safety of the labourers working on site paramount and they are provided with essential safety gear such as helmets, jackets, harnesses. Regular safety audits are conducted on sites. Labourers are duly informed about various safety protocols and emergency exit drills are carried out regularly. First aid is available on all sites. Various activities are carried to engage with employees beyond work. Cricket and Kabbadi matches were organised at various sites to build the team spirit.
An on-site school has been set up for the children of the labourers. Regular off site programs are conducted to boost the morale of the employees, plus it offers an opportunity to break away from a formal set up and interact withe employees in a non-formal and friendly manner. Today, with our employee engagement programs, we can proudly boast of a next-to-nil attrition rate and the average tenure of our team in the organisation is above 20 years.
